Urban Suites
in Milan Certosa Designed for people who move.
NOMAD Factory Living is a branded residential project born from the conversion of a former industrial complex in the Milan Certosa District. A new way to live in Milan: compact, functional, carefully designed spaces created for a new generation of urban residents. People who move between cities, projects, and life stages and who are not necessarily looking for a forever home, but for a space that rises to the moment. Not simple housing units. Urban suites designed to experience the city with greater freedom, privacy, and comfort.
The Project
NOMAD Factory Living transforms the industrial identity of the original building into a new residential concept, with an approach inspired by hospitality.
Volumes, ceiling heights, materials, and circulation paths are reinterpreted to shape modern, essential, and well-organized living environments.
Factory is the honesty of materials.
Nomad is the freedom of movement.
Living is the quality of feeling at home, even temporarily.
The Living Concept
NOMAD Factory Living is designed for those seeking a space that is immediately livable, aesthetically coherent, and precisely conceived. A space that adapts to the life of those who move — not the other way around. An ideal solution for professionals, managers, expats, executive students, creative workers, temporary residents, and people looking for a base in Milan without giving up identity, comfort, and quality.

NOMAD Factory Living transforms the industrial identity of the original building into a new residential concept, with an approach inspired by hospitality.
The project preserves and reinterprets the post-industrial character of the complex. The Garden Homes are located within the main internal volumes, where the iconic barrel and shed roofs become a distinctive architectural signature. Large skylights bring natural light from above, expanding the perception of space and giving each unit a recognizable atmosphere. The street-facing entrance is deliberately discreet, yet it opens into a more intimate internal world: a scenic covered passage, the concierge area, landscaped paths, private gardens, and shared spaces. Not a standard residential building. An address with character.
Interior Design
The interiors combine functionality, warmth, and clean design. Materials, furnishings, lighting, and spatial layouts are designed to create environments that feel immediately livable, orderly, and contemporary. Each suite is conceived to offer everyday comfort, privacy, and a perceived quality above traditional micro-living. The Urban Suites express a more material, post-industrial character.
The Garden Homes feature a fresher, brighter, and more minimal language, enhanced by the double-level layout and natural overhead light.
